Privacy

Our principles

• No account is required to use Tempo.
• We do not ask for your real name.
• Email is optional — only used to send what you requested.
• Your check-in answers stay on your device unless you submit them to Tempo Coach.
• We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
• You can ask us to delete any data we hold at any time.

What stays on your device

Your check-in answers and 7-day reset progress are stored in your browser's localStorage. Tempo's servers do not see them unless you explicitly use Tempo Coach (which sends a summary to the language model) or submit your email to receive a report.

What we receive when you use Tempo Coach

When you click Generate my plan, your answers and any optional free-text are sent to our server and forwarded to an OpenAI-compatible language model to produce the reflection. Tempo does not persist the request body. The language model provider may retain logs per their own policy — see their documentation.

Patreon membership data

To gate paid tiers we use Patreon as the identity and billing provider. After you connect, Tempo stores a signed cookie on your device containing: your Patreon user id, your Patreon email, the Patreon tier id you matched, and a refresh token used to re-check your tier. We never see your card or password — that stays with Patreon.

We periodically use the refresh token to ask Patreon "is this person still an active patron?" and update access accordingly. When you log out, the cookie is cleared.

Email & lead requests

If you submit your email to receive a deeper report or 7-day reset, we keep:

• Your email address.
• The variant you requested (e.g. "report" or "plan").
• The result category keys generated for you (e.g. performance_anxiety).
• The date of submission.

We do not store free-text answers, sexual details, medication names, or anything that would identify you beyond your email. Confirmation emails are sent through Resend; their privacy policy applies to the delivery transit.

Analytics & cookies

Tempo uses PostHog for product analytics (page views, drop-off points, conversion funnel) only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. PostHog uses cookies; we have configured it to mask all input fields and avoid recording free-text content. If you decline, we do not load PostHog at all and the site continues to work normally.

Tempo's own login cookies (Patreon membership, anti-CSRF state) are essential and are set regardless of analytics consent — they are never used for advertising or third-party sharing.

Deleting your data

To delete your email, your Patreon connection on our side, or any server-side log we may have, write to privacy@495621.xyz. We'll confirm deletion within a reasonable time. To delete the on-device data, clear your browser storage for this site, or click Disconnect Patreon on this device on the pricing page.

Third-party services we use

• Patreon — identity & billing for tier-gated features.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for lead confirmations and Patreon welcome emails.
• OpenAI-compatible language model — generates the Tempo Coach reflection. Specific model and provider depend on current configuration.
• PostHog — product analytics (only after consent).
• Vercel — hosting. Standard request logs apply.
